hello everyone mr. Thurlow here welcome to the 2019-2020 school year we're going to be trying something of a different this year each week I plan to create a video that contains important information about Sumner for that coming and potentially the weeks to come this information will be schedule changes to events upcoming events and opportunities and really a glimpse into what's going on at Sumner at that particular time. August 29th Thursday is our 9 in an opportunity for them to me as well as understand where their classrooms are and how about the building introductory and team-building exercises that day as many of you know we have several K through 8 school that sends you a quick shout-out Cave Hill School Hancock Grammar School Consolidated School 26 schools come together often times our students don't know one another so we want them to come on their first opportunity to meet friendship with for the next four years on my list we will have a schedule of events and agenda Thursday August 29th that will be coming up the final week of our summer vacation also on August 30th Thursday the 29th of the grade nine and then Friday the 30th will be 9 through 12 will also be sending out student schedule and start up documents in the mail I want to invite you to come in over the next 3 weeks and really getting to know the area and I'm very excited to be here mr. Green's wife is also a teacher at the peninsula Consolidated School so I would like to welcome their children into our community very excited to offer more opportunities project-based learning at the end of all of our staff worked very hard to develop ideas for project-based learning in their classes and then each teacher will offer at least one Project based learning opportunities in their classes for you our students increase our offerings as we move forward in the years to come mr. Wayne newingham mrs. Missy Merchant mrs. Diana Herrington Barnes our students and also mr. Josh Richardson very hard to make sure that our building is prepared and ready for you to return on August 29th it's been a very long summer it's been a great job and they're still working hard as we speak on Monday August 19th if you have any questions about practice time or what we offer in the fall please email me his email is r d u b e r c 24. Org director the summer time for me is a it's a wonderful time I love you relax a little bit when I get very excited because I can't wait for you to come back I know that mister green is also excited to meet you and as I seen teachers in the building over the past few months the same way our our entire career our entire focus is our our students excited to have you all returned to it please enjoy the next few weeks they will be there and we'll see you on the 29th thank you
