Petrina Scaglione is originally from Buffalo, New York.  She has been teaching at the Charles M. Sumner Learning Campus for the past three years and is the class advisor for the class of 2024.   She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science and a Masters Degree of Science in Secondary English Education (7-12) from Buffalo State College.  She has been teaching English Language Arts for the past seven years both as a middle school and high school teacher.  In her classroom she believes that student centered learning, inquiry based questions, reader's workshop and writer's workshop are the best ways to engage all of her students.
