Martha graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1980 with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education. She has taught students with varying abilities and disabilities for 40+ years in Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Martha and her family returned home to Maine in 2019. She has been at Sumner Memorial High School as a Special Educator since returning home.
