Hello, Sumner Tigers and Sumner Community! This is my 10th year as an English and French language instructor, and my 7th year here at Sumner. I previously taught in Pennsylvania and Mississippi before moving to Maine in 2016. I am a linguist at heart and have an immense passion for diverse cultures. I love to travel, read, hike and spend time (especially outdoors!) with my family, pets and friends. I advise the Sumner Chapter of the National Honor Society as well as host the after school Cooking Club. At Sumner, the focus of my teaching philosophy remains to help students learn and grow!
